Since his childhood Perrin Manzer Allen was connected to music and theatre. At 12 years old he gave his first piano concerts in his home country and toured Europe. One year later, at 13, he performed the title role in the Opera "Amahl and the Night Visitors" in New York.
As a performer and singer Perrin has had a successful international carreer. In the first production of "Les Miserable" in Germany he was engaged not only for the role of "Javert" but as well for the role of "Valjean". More stations were: The Hamburg Staatsoper "Bernstein dances", The Boston Pops; New York Philharmonic, Opera de Monte Carlo, Opera Theatre of St Louis; New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players. With the singer Julia Migenes he toured over 10 years throughout Europe; Australia and the US.
Besides his work as performer Perrin is highly successful as a musician. He was the Musical Director for the German speaking Abba musical production of "Mamma Mia", later supervising casting for the Moscow, Milan and Paris production.
As Musical Supervisor was Perrin Manzer Allen responsible for the German Premiere of "Spring Awakening" in Vienna and "Buddy Holly" in Essen. Throughout the years he has worked as music/singing consultant for several productions in Germany e.g. "Wicked", "Dance of the Vampire" or "Dirty Dancing", "Sister Act".
For his original piece "Anonymous Society" Perrin was awarded the "Barclay Theatre Award" for "Best Musical 2000". For the orchestrations of "Dancing Shadows" he was awarded the Korean musical Award 2007 (Eric Woolfson/Ariel Dorffman).
Perrin works as singing coach and casting consultant throughout the world. Developing and discovering young talent have always been primary to his work. Therefore, as a result, in 2010 Stage Entertainment entrusted him with the task of re-vamping and reconceiving the training curriculum at their Joop van Ende Academy. He acts as Artistic Director of this institution.
